I have carried out many assessments with Dr Mustafa. He is a very competent, kind and compassionate clinician towards both his patients and colleagues. He respects his colleagues and values their opinion. He is approachable and always takes time to teach and offer help when needed. He is a well respected member of the team and I am sure that I will continue to learn from him in the future.

This feedback relates to a very positive experience as a colleague in the acute mental health service I jointly attended and have been involved with Dr Mustafa's management of an extremely unusual and complicated case in the acute mental health liaison service . A 38 year old male who has a history of anxiety and depression managed within primary care. He had long standing social/communication difficulties that caused problems socially and with his employments. In 2019 he suspected he may have Asperger’s and approached his GP who referred him for assessment, Dr Mustafa undertook a comprehensive case review including family opinion collating a chronological picture of events which enhanced the overall assessment of this complex case. I was very impressed by Dr Mustafa's ability to engage and develop a good rapport with this person andhe undertake a neurological examination as well as a mental health review . Dr Mustafa demonstrated outstanding knowledge of both the physical and mental health presentation, he then discussed this with the medical consultant and they collaboratively came up with a clinical management plan. He provided me with an exemplory example of teamwork and across agency clinical management , I fely supported and fully inclusive in the process. In addition the service user (patient ) and family views were clearly central in the care discussion .

I have worked alongside Dr Mustafa as an associate professional on a number of occasions. I have always found him to be professional, thorough, compassionate, honest, and empathetic in his contact with patients. He is considered and reflective in his approach and decision-making. I am continuously impressed by the extent of his professional knowledge beyond that of everyday psychiatric practice and his ability to share it with others. I feel my professional practice has been informed and enhanced as a result of the knowledge he shares.

I work as an AMHP and I undertake many assessments with Dr Mustafa. I have always found him to be responsive and willing to undertake the assessments, well prepared and knowledgeable about the patient and kind and caring in his approach. He has an excellent knowledge of both physical and mental health conditions and as such, is able to work in a very holistic way. He is my 'first choice' for assessment where they is a physical component to the assessment as he is able to see how physical health can impact on the mental health of a person. Dr Mustafa is also very skilled at working with people living with EUPD and he is able to risk assess and take positive risks with this challenging group of patients. As a colleague I have found him to be receptive to my views and willing to share and explain information about conditions that may assist the assessment. It is always a pleasure to work with Dr Mustafa and I would be very happy for his to be my Doctor if I was unfortunate enough to become unwell.

What I really liked about Feras and his input into a professionals meeting we had about a complex person with likely ASD who has been hidden in the system to a point where he was unwell. Feras added great value by helping us to understand how best to communicate with and ensure the best outcomes for the person RB. He added value and his expertise and knowledge in a way that challenged some of the thinking of those of us who do not understand this person's needs as well as he does. He offered further expertise if we needed it at the same time being clear where his role ended and where he believed responsibility for the person lay. Thank you Feras
